Yaroslavsky Demonstrates On-Line Assistance for Businesses - On June 9, Supervisors Zev Yaroslavsky and Don Knabe joined Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder Conny McCormack at her Norwalk headquarters to demonstrate the Registrar-Recorder’s new on-line service for accessing information and downloading forms to register fictitious business names (FBN). Yaroslavsky noted that the 100,000 businesses annually who file their FBN statements formerly had to drive all the way to Norwalk to acquire the forms, but now anyone with Internet access can accomplish the same thing in a matter of seconds.
