YAROSLAVSKY REAPPOINTS STUDIO CITY RESIDENT TONY LUCENTE TO CITIZENS' ECONOMY AND EFFICIENCY COMMISSION

Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky has reappointed Studio City resident and corporate public-affairs executive Tony J. Lucente to the Los Angeles County Citizens' Economy and Efficiency Commission.

"Tony has done an excellent job as one of my four appointees to the Commission," Yaroslavsky said. "The Citizens' E&E Commission is a laboratory for new ideas, and their job is to help us put an end to 'business as usual' here at the County. I'm glad Tony's in there making a difference for all of us."

Lucente currently serves as Corporate Manager for Communications at Nissan North America, where he has worked since 1989. In his civic role, as President of the Studio City Residents Association, Lucente has been deeply involved in numerous environmental, land use, transportation and public safety issues on behalf of his community. In addition to his County post, he serves on several city and state panels on economic and environmental issues.

Duties of the 21-member Commission include formulating recommendations to the Board to improve economy, efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of government services.
