YAROSLAVSKY REAPPOINTMENTS ARONSON TO COUNTY ASSESSMENT APPEALS BOARD

Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky has reappointed Beverly Hills resident Eugene C. Aronson to the County's Assessment Appeals Board.

Aronson, first appointed by Yaroslavsky to the panel in October 1996, is a retired real estate appraiser who previously worked for the State of California and for the Los Angeles County Assessor’s office from 1967 to 1993. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from New York State University and attended graduate school at UCLA.

Duties of the five three-member Assessment Appeals Boards are to hear appeals of assessed valuation on the County's local property tax roll.
