| April 21, 1999 YAROSLAVSKY REAPPOINTS ANDREW ROBERT STERN TO COUNTY BEACH COMMISSION Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky has announced the reappointment of entertainment executive and Malibu resident Andrew Robert Stern to the Los Angeles County Beach Commission. He was first appointed by Yaroslavsky in January 1997. "Im pleased that Andy has agreed to continue serving as one of my appointees on the Commission," Yaroslavsky said. "As a Malibu resident, frequent beach visitor and active member of the Point Dume Homeowners Association, he will ensure that the coastal community remains well represented on this panel." Stern, an attorney in private practice, is a former Chief Executive Officer for Celebrity Home Entertainment, Inc., and previously held several other executive positions in the entertainment industry following his initial stint practicing entertainment law. He is a graduate of UCLA and the University of San Fernando College of Law. As one of two Los Angeles County Supervisors representing the coastal area, Yaroslavsky receives seven appointments to the 20-member Beach Commission. Duties of the Commission include the review of all beach projects and service in an advisory capacity to the Board of Supervisors.
