YAROSLAVSKY APPOINTS AGOURA HILLS COUNCIL MEMBER DENIS WEBER TO BOARD OF RETIREMENT

Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky has appointed Agoura Hills Councilmember and City National Bank manager Denis Weber to the Los Angeles County Board of Retirement.

"I'm very pleased that Denis will be serving as my representative on the Board of Retirement," Yaroslavsky said. "With 30 years of experience in the banking field, his managerial and financial expertise will help us ensure the integrity of the retirement system for our County family."

In addition to his Council duties, Weber is active in the Westlake Village Rotary Club and the Thousand Oaks-Westlake Chamber of Commerce.

The Board of Retirement comprises nine members, four appointed by the Board of Supervisors, two elected by active general members, one elected by active safety employee (i.e. fire and sheriff’s personnel), one elected by retired members, and the County Treasurer, serving Ex Officio. Their duties are to administer the County’s Retirement system.
