YAROSLAVSKY REAPPOINTS JUDITH FRANK TO COUNTY HEALTH FACILITIES AUTHORITY COMMISSION

Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky has announced the reappointment of Brentwood resident Judith Frank, managing principal and owner of the capital projects consultancy Asset Strategies, to the Los Angeles County Health Facilities Authority Commission.

"I'm very pleased that Judy will continue serving as my representative on the Commission," Yaroslavsky said. "She has a broad range of experience in real estate, development, regional planning, and government processes generally," he added, "and we benefit greatly from her wise counsel as we ponder our options."

Prior to establishing Asset Strategies in 1993, Frank served for four years at as Vice President for Real Estate Development at Warner Bros., where her responsibilities included strategic planning and development of company assets, as well as daily management of domestic facilities in the United States. She previously headed up the real estate division of 20th Century Fox Film Corporation, and has served as project manager and in other capacities for Gruen Associates, Architects and Planners, and earlier for the architectural firm of Daniel, Mann, Johnson & Mendenhall.

Duties of the 7-member Council include oversight of acquisition, construction, improvements, expansion, reconstruction, remodeling, and replacement of hospitals and health-care facilities within the County Hospital System.
