YAROSLAVSKY ANNOUNCES STORM DRAIN PROJECT IN VAN NUYS

Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky has announced that plans are underway to repair a reinforced concrete box storm drain on Woodley Avenue between Strathern Street and Saticoy Street in Van Nuys. The project will repair minor cracks in the storm drain caused by seismic activity.

The County Department of Public Works will open bids February 6 on a contract to do the work. Officials expect the project to take 50 working days to complete, starting in April and ending in July. Traffic and local access may be mildly disrupted during the work.
