YAROSLAVSKY REAPPOINTS BRENTWOOD REAL ESTATE EXECUTIVE KENNETH A. RUBY TO REAL ESTATE MANAGEMENT COMMISSION

Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky has reappointed Brentwood real estate developer Kenneth A. Ruby to the Los Angeles County Real Estate Management Commission.

Ruby, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School in real estate finance, has been a successful real estate developer since 1960, involved in all aspects of the field including construction, management and leasing of commercial,residential income, office and industrial properties. He first began serving on the County Real Estate Management Commission in 1977. His community activities include service as a past president and member of the Board of Directors of Stephen S. Wise Temple.

Duties of the five-member Commission include offering advice and developing recommendations for the Board of Supervisors on all matters pertaining to the purchase, sales, leases, exchanges and rentals of real property by the County and other entities for which the Board serves as the governing body.
